Clubul Sportiv Municipal Constanța, commonly known as CSM Constanța, is a Romanian basketball club based in Constanța, which currently participates in the Liga Națională, the top-tier league in Romania. The team represents the men's basketball section of the CSM Constanța multi-sports club. The basketball team predates the multi-sports club (which was founded in 2021), being named Athletic Neptun Constanța before the merger in the summer of 2022. The club initially played in the second-tier Liga I. However, in 2018 the league was merged with the top-tier: Liga Națională.
L'Athletic Constanța è una squadra di pallacanestro rumena con sede a Constanța. Gioca nella Divizia A rumena, il massimo campionato del paese.
La squadra è stata fondata nel 1921 con il nome di YMCA Constanța. Nel 1925 cambia nome in Athletic Constanța.
L'Athletic Constanța ha vinto il campionato rumeno per 13 volte, l'ultima nel 2015. Ha vinto anche la Coppa di Romania per 9 volte, l'ultima nel 2016.
L'Athletic Constanța ha partecipato alla Coppa dei Campioni per 11 volte, raggiungendo le semifinali nel 1963. Ha partecipato anche alla FIBA Europe League per 14 volte, raggiungendo le semifinali nel 1991.
L'Athletic Constanța è allenato da Cristian Achim. I suoi giocatori più rappresentativi sono Vlad Moldoveanu, Mihai Alexandru, Răzvan Duculescu e Bogdan Birău.
