Ynyshir Albions F.C. are a Welsh football team based in the village Ynyshir in the Rhondda Valley. The club plays in the Ardal Leagues South West, which is the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid.

History

The club was founded in 1992. They were promoted to the Welsh Football League from the South Wales Alliance Premier Division in 2019.

They joined the newly formed Ardal Leagues for the 2020–21 season although the season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The following season they finished second in the inaugural season of the Ardal Southwest. As league runners-up they played the runners-up of the Ardal Southeast in a playoff match for promotion to the tier 2 Cymru South, beating Abertillery Bluebirds 3–0. They finished bottom of the Cymru South in the 2022–23 season and were relegated back into the Ardal Leagues.

Lo Ynyshir Albions è una squadra di calcio semi-professionistica gallese con sede a Ynyshir, Rhondda Cynon Taf. Attualmente gioca nella Welsh Football League Division One, il secondo livello del campionato calcistico gallese.

Il club è stato fondato nel 1887 e gioca le partite casalinghe al Park Avenue, noto anche come The Old Showground. I colori sociali del club sono il bianco e il rosso.

Lo Ynyshir Albions ha vinto la Welsh Cup nel 1933 e nel 1934, diventando la prima squadra gallese a vincere la competizione per due volte consecutive. Il club ha anche vinto la Welsh Football League Division One in due occasioni, nel 1933-34 e nel 1934-35.
