Lo Sportfreunde Lotte è una società calcistica tedesca con sede a Lotte, nella Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. La squadra di calcio fa parte di una polisportiva che conta circa 1400 membri e ha divisioni per pallamano, ginnastica, nuoto e altri sport.

History

L'associazione fu fondata come club di ginnastica Turnverein Lotte nel 1929. Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale il club fu rifondato con il nome di VfL Sportfreunde Lotte il 9 febbraio 1946.

Lo Sportfreunde Lotte ha vinto la Bezirksliga Westfalen nel 1989, nel 1996 ha vinto la Landesliga Westfalen, venendo così promosso in Verbandsliga Westfalen (V), che ha poi vinto nel 2004, venendo così promosso in Oberliga. Lo Sportfreunde Lotte è rimasto in Oberliga fino al 2008, quando è stato promosso in Regionalliga West.

Lo Sportfreunde Lotte è una squadra di calcio tedesca di Lotte, Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Fondata il 4 febbraio 1929, gioca le partite casalinghe al Frimo Stadion, che ha una capacità di 10.059 posti.

Dopo aver giocato nelle serie minori per gran parte della sua storia, lo Sportfreunde Lotte ha ottenuto la promozione per la prima volta nella 3. Liga, la terza divisione tedesca, nella stagione 2008-2009. Ha poi continuato a vincere il titolo della 3. Liga nella stagione 2015-2016, guadagnando la promozione per la 2. Bundesliga, la seconda divisione tedesca.

Lo Sportfreunde Lotte ha trascorso due stagioni in 2. Bundesliga, ma è stato retrocesso al termine della stagione 2017-2018. Da allora, la squadra ha giocato nuovamente nella 3. Liga.

Nella stagione 2022-2023, lo Sportfreunde Lotte è arrivato 16° in 3. Liga, evitando così la retrocessione.
