Wikipedia - San Sebastian Stags

The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Their 5 consecutive NCAA seniors basketball championships was the longest streak in the NCAA.

The other senior varsity teams may also be referred to as the Stags. The juniors team are the San Sebastian Staglets, while the women's team are the San Sebastian Lady Stags.

Gli SSC-R Golden Stags sono una squadra di pallacanestro universitaria delle Filippine che gioca nella University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). La squadra rappresenta l'Università di San Carlos (USC) di Cebu City. Gli Stags sono una delle squadre di maggior successo nella storia della UAAP, avendo vinto 12 campionati, il secondo risultato più alto della lega. Gli Stags sono guidati dall'allenatore capo Egay Macaraya, che è anche il direttore atletico dell'USC. La squadra è composta da un mix di giocatori veterani e giovani promesse, tra cui il centro All-UAAP MVP Johnriel de Mesa e la guardia Kevin Alas. Gli Stags sono noti per il loro stile di gioco veloce e aggressivo, che li rende una delle squadre più eccitanti da guardare nella UAAP.
