Guilsfield Football Club is a football team, founded in 1957 in Guilsfield, near Welshpool, Wales. Guilsfield play in the Cymru North, which is in the second level of the Welsh football league system.

History

A team was founded in Guilsfield by a Mr A.C. Perkins in October 1879.

Il Guilsfield Football Club è una squadra di calcio gallese con sede a Guilsfield, Powys, Galles. Attualmente gioca nella Welsh Football League Division Two, il quinto livello del sistema di campionato gallese di calcio.

Il club è stato fondato nel 1885 e ha giocato nella Welsh Football League fin dalla sua fondazione nel 1992. Ha vinto la Welsh Cup due volte, nel 2008 e nel 2012.

Il Guilsfield ha rappresentato il Galles in competizioni europee in due occasioni. Nel 2008-09, ha perso al primo turno di qualificazione contro la squadra estone del JK Trans Narva. Nella stagione 2012-13, ha perso al secondo turno di qualificazione contro la squadra islandese del KR Reykjavík.

Il Guilsfield gioca le sue partite casalinghe al Park Avenue Stadium, che ha una capacità di 2.000 spettatori. I colori sociali del club sono il rosso e il bianco.
