History

Ha ottenuto una licenza per la League of Ireland nella stagione 2007 cogliendo l'opportunità data dal fallimento del Dublin City.

Il 25 settembre 2015 alla penultima giornata della First Division, grazie alla vittoria per 3-0 sull'Athlone Town, si è assicurato il primo posto in classifica e la prima storica promozione in League of Ireland Premier Division, la massima serie del campionato irlandese di calcio.

Il Wexford Football Club è una squadra di calcio irlandese con sede a Crossabeg, nella contea di Wexford. Fondato nel 1946, attualmente gioca nella League of Ireland First Division, il secondo livello del campionato calcistico irlandese.

Il club ha vinto l'FAI Intermediate Cup nel 1972 e la Leinster Senior League nel 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 e 2016.
