Shatin Sports Association (Chinese: 沙田體育會) is a Hong Kong football club based in the Sha Tin District. The club currently competes in the Hong Kong First Division.

The club plays most of its home matches at Ma On Shan Sports Ground.

History

Sha Tin plays against Kitchee at the old Mong Kok Stadium.

Shatin, as 2008–09 Hong Kong Junior Shield winners, were invited to take part in the 2008–09 HKFA Cup by the HKFA. The team was drawn against Kitchee in the first round and lost the game 3–0.

They once competed in the top-tier Hong Kong First Division during the 2009–10 season, but were relegated after finishing 9th out of 10 teams.

In the 2017–18 season, the club achieved their highest ever finish, placing runners up in the First Division.

Il Shatin Sports Association Football Club (in cinese: 沙田體育協會足球隊) è una squadra di calcio di Hong Kong con sede a Sha Tin. Fondato nel 1983, il club gioca attualmente nella Hong Kong Premier League, il massimo livello del calcio di Hong Kong. Lo stadio di casa del club è lo Sha Tin Sports Ground.

Il club ha vinto numerosi titoli, tra cui tre campionati di Hong Kong e due coppe di Hong Kong. È stato inoltre vice-campione della Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield in quattro occasioni. A livello internazionale, il club ha partecipato alla AFC Champions League in tre occasioni, raggiungendo i quarti di finale nel 2008.
