Tritones Vallarta M Fútbol Club is a football club that plays in the Liga Premier de México – Serie A. It is based in Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, Mexico.

History

At the end of July 2021, it was reported about that a new soccer team would be located on the Mexican Pacific coast, without knowing the name or the city where it would be located, although it was mentioned that it would be led by Manuel Naya Barba. On July 30, it was officially announced that the new team will be called Tritones Vallarta M.F.C. and would be based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The team was created with the aim of forming a club that achieves identity in the city and its metropolitan area due to the absence of a representative club, in addition, the idea of seeking to reach the Liga de Expansión MX in a period of two years.

Following the announcement of its creation, the club announced its first players: Julián Barajas; Sergio Rodríguez; Kevyn Montaño; César Landa; Alan Jaramillo; José Coronel and Bryan Álvarez.

The team played its first official game on September 18, 2021, in the game Vallarta defeated Mineros de Fresnillo F.C. 0–1 and Julián Barajas scored the first goal in the team's history.

Il Tritones Vallarta MFC, noto anche come Tritones Vallarta, è un club calcistico professionistico messicano con sede a Puerto Vallarta, nello stato di Jalisco. Il club è stato fondato nel 2021 e attualmente gioca nella Serie B messicana, il secondo livello del campionato nazionale.

I Tritones Vallarta giocano le partite casalinghe presso lo stadio Agustín Flores Contreras, che ha una capacità di 4.000 spettatori. I colori ufficiali del club sono il rosso, il bianco e il blu.

Il club è stato fondato da un gruppo di imprenditori locali con l'obiettivo di portare il calcio professionistico a Puerto Vallarta. Il primo presidente del club è stato Salvador González Saldaña.

Il Tritones Vallarta ha fatto il suo debutto ufficiale nella Serie B messicana nella stagione 2021-2022. Nella sua prima stagione, il club ha terminato in decima posizione nel Gruppo 2, mancando di poco la qualificazione ai playoff.

Nella stagione 2022-2023, il Tritones Vallarta ha migliorato le sue prestazioni e ha concluso la stagione regolare in quinta posizione nel Gruppo 2. Nella fase dei playoff, il club è stato eliminato al primo turno dal Durango.

I Tritones Vallarta sono guidati dall'allenatore argentino Roberto Carlos Mario Gómez. Il capitano della squadra è il difensore messicano Édgar Solís.

Il Tritones Vallarta è un club giovane e ambizioso che punta a raggiungere la promozione in Serie A messicana nei prossimi anni. Il club ha una forte base di tifosi a Puerto Vallarta e sta lavorando per espandere la sua popolarità in tutto il Messico.
